2018 Parents: If you have a child due to start reception class in September 2018 and are considering the school, please join us at 7pm on the 17th October, at St Andrews.
Admissions to the school will be allocated through the BANES Co-ordinated Admissions Scheme which opens in September 2017. Please note that the application deadline, 15th January 2018. Educate Together Academy Trust to sponsor new Mulberry Park primary school in Bath.
The Bristol-based Educate Together Academy Trust is delighted to announce that it has been appointed sponsor of the new primary school, being built for the residents of Mulberry Park and Foxhill.
The school will cater for one form of entry (210 children). It will be open to all children in the Mulberry Park and Foxhill area.
The decision to award the sponsorship was communicated by the Department for Education: The academy will be a state funded school established under the current government’s “Free School Presumption Programme” in collaboration with the local authority.
Paul Rowe, CEO said, “Educate Together is delighted with this development. We are confident that our equality and human rights approach to education will prove successful in Bath. We are looking forward to working with the families in this new housing estate, the developers and the local authority to delivery the best possible educational environment for children at this school.”
The Mulberry Park Educate Together primary school will be a new addition to the Educate Together Academy Trust UK, an emerging new organisation based in Bristol. With over 38 years’ experience in Ireland, Educate Together is now successfully offering its ethical curriculum to pupils in Redfield, Bristol with a new schools planned in Somerdale and Locking Parklands, Weston-super-Mare.
