Admissions 2018: Places available.

Mulberry park Educate together Primary will open its doors in September 2018 to its first cohort of reception class pupils. 

Places have been allocated through the local authority admissions schemes but we do have a number of spaces still available. If you would like to find out more please visit our events page on the Mulberry Park website

If you have missed the deadline or would like to apply for a place at the Mulberry park school please contact your Local Authority as soon as possible to make a late application. Second wave allocations will be released week commencing 18th May.

Headteacher appointed: Emma Garnett.

Emma was born in Warwickshire where she studied for A levels in French, Spanish, Art and Health and Social Care before moving to Sheffield. Emma studied for her BA Hons early years education (3-7) with QTS at Sheffield Hallam.

Following this, Emma taught in Rugby, where she helped to set up a foundation unit. After 2 years Emma relocated back to Sheffield, joining Coit Primary School as a Year 1 teacher and art coordinator.  Emma also managed phonics across Coit and its partner school, Ecclesfield, where she later moved on secondment to be Early Years Phase Leader. During her secondment year Emma worked towards her NPQML.

Emma’s life then brought her to Bristol where she joined Redfield Educate Together and helped to set up the school. Each year her role has changed moving from Early Years lead to Early Years and Year 1 lead before taking on the role of Deputy Head. Here Emma taught and lead the Early Years to gaining Outstanding in Ofsted.

Emma lives in Bristol. She enjoys attending exercise classes, reading and going for country walks. Family and friends are a big part of Emma’s life and she enjoys long walks and cuddles from her dog, Theo. 

The Mulberry Park Educate Together primary school will be a new addition to the Educate Together Academy Trust UK, an emerging new organisation based in Bristol. With over 38 years’ experience in Ireland, Educate Together is now successfully offering its ethical curriculum to pupils in Redfield, Bristol and Somerdale, Keynsham with a new schools planned in Locking Parklands, Weston-super-Mare and Abbey Farm, Swindon.
